Product Description
Created for Metallica’s October 17, 2026 performance at Sphere in Las Vegas, this Poster Canvas features Brandon Heart’s Flaming Orb Reaper II artwork from the Life Burns Faster residency. The piece continues the visual theme of the October 15 and 17 weekend while giving the second night its own composition, color balance and Las Vegas details.
The October 17 performance is paired with the October 15 show as part of a No Repeat Weekend during Metallica’s Sphere residency. The two dates form one weekend within the larger Life Burns Faster run, with the October 17 artwork serving as the event specific print for Saturday night at Sphere. Metallica’s tour schedule confirms the October 17, 2026 show at Sphere in Las Vegas as part of the M72 World Tour and Life Burns Faster run. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="0"}
The illustration centers on a hooded skeletal reaper clutching a large cracked orb between its extended hands. Flames rise around the sphere while the figure’s glowing eye, open skull and flowing robes create a dramatic supernatural presence. Rich orange, red and yellow highlights illuminate the reaper against a dark purple and black background, making the central figure feel as though it is lit by the burning orb itself.
The lower section brings the setting into the composition through dark Las Vegas skyline silhouettes, including an observation wheel and tower shapes. A large Metallica logo cuts across the artwork above the Life Burns Faster lettering while Sphere Las Vegas, NV and October 17th 2026 identify the exact venue, city and performance date. Distressed textures and heavy illustrated line work give the design the character of a traditional concert poster while keeping the imagery bold enough to read from across a room.
As a Poster Canvas, the vertical format preserves the full composition from the sweeping hood and flaming orb to the event lettering and Las Vegas skyline below. The large central figure creates an immediate focal point while smaller details in the skeletal hands, cracked sphere, flames and city silhouettes give the artwork more to discover when viewed up close.
