Product Description
Created for Weekend Four of Metallica’s Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, this Poster Canvas features Maxx242’s Horned Tentacle Skull artwork for the October 22 and 24, 2026 No Repeat Weekend. The design gives this part of the Las Vegas run its own visual identity through a large blue creature, glowing eyes and a vivid red background.
The October 22 and 24 performances form one of Metallica’s No Repeat Weekends at Sphere, with two separate nights making up the weekend experience. Metallica’s official tour schedule lists both dates at Sphere in Las Vegas as part of the 2026 M72 World Tour and Life Burns Faster residency. The artwork connects directly to this weekend while also reflecting the larger fan experience surrounding the shows.
Maxx242’s illustration is dominated by a massive blue horned skull with glowing red orange eyes and long tentacle forms extending from the lower face. Curved blade like shapes sweep around the sides of the head while deep black shadows and detailed blue line work give the creature a heavy sculpted appearance. The oversized central figure fills most of the composition and creates an immediate focal point.
The background uses distressed red and black textures that contrast sharply with the cool blue creature. Across the top, the Metallica logo shifts from red into fiery orange while the lower section carries Life Burns Faster lettering together with Las Vegas, NV and the October 22 & 24 2026 dates. The combination of horror inspired imagery, bold colors and rough illustrated textures gives the artwork the character of a classic concert poster.
In Poster Canvas format, the vertical composition keeps the full design intact from the oversized Metallica logo to the tentacled skull and weekend date lettering below. The strong red and blue contrast makes the artwork easy to recognize from across a room while the finer horn, tentacle and distressed texture details remain visible when viewed up close.
