Product Description
Created for Metallica’s October 29, 2026 performance at Sphere in Las Vegas, this Poster Canvas features Ken Taylor’s Emerald Orb Reaper artwork from the Life Burns Faster residency. A mysterious skeletal figure, glowing orange sphere and vivid green highlights give the illustration a dark supernatural atmosphere. The design combines horror inspired imagery with the visual identity of Metallica’s Las Vegas concert series.
The October 29 performance opens Weekend Five of Metallica’s Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere, with the second show taking place on October 31. Together, the two concerts form a No Repeat Weekend with different setlists across the paired performances. This artwork commemorates the October 29 show and captures the darker atmosphere surrounding Metallica’s Halloween weekend in Las Vegas.
Ken Taylor’s illustration centers on a hooded figure with long flowing green hair and a decaying skull face. Its clawed hands reach toward a glowing orange sphere suspended between them, creating the appearance of a supernatural ritual. A curved scythe rises behind the figure while heavy chains hang along the lower edges of the composition. Green highlights trace the robes, skeletal features and sharp fingernails, giving the character a striking appearance against the surrounding darkness.
The artwork uses an intense combination of emerald green, burnt orange and deep black. Smoke and clouds fill the background while a small Las Vegas skyline, including the recognizable tower silhouette, appears near the lower right. The oversized Metallica logo stretches across the top in fiery orange lettering with green outlines. Beneath the central figure, Gothic inspired Sphere lettering is accompanied by Life Burns Faster, Las Vegas, NV and the October 29, 2026 performance date.
Available as poster or canvas wall art, the vertical composition preserves the complete Emerald Orb Reaper illustration from the Metallica logo and flowing hair to the glowing sphere, hanging chains and Las Vegas details below. The bold green and orange contrast creates a dramatic focal point for a music room, entertainment space or concert artwork display. Fine line work in the skull, hands, fabric and smoky background provides additional detail when viewed up close.
